POTSDAM -- SLC Arts will be hosting their first Regional Arts Roundtable of the year, on Feb. 18, at 1 p.m. Panelists will discuss the importance of using social media to spread an organization’s mission, engaging their audience, and utilizing specific tools to make social media usage efficient.

Panelists for the social media roundtable will be: Jenna Clute, Programs Coordinator at SLC Arts; Valerie Visser, owner and operator at Valerie Visser Photography; Xiuke Wei, Communications Director at TAUNY; Mary Harding, owner and artist at Mary Harding Jewelry; and Rebecca Weissman, Social Media Coordinator at the Orchestra of Northern New York.

SLC Arts modified their Regional Arts Roundtable last year. The new and improved Roundtable focuses on a specific topic, featuring a guest panel prepared to share information, and answer questions. In lieu of completely open dialogue, participants will have an opportunity to listen to the panel’s discussion response to pre-written topics, engage in meaningful conversation, and ask pertinent questions.
