POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Elks Lodge host their first ever Hockey Shoot at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 at Pine Street Arena.
It is open to any youth age 13 and under.
No hockey experience is required. Shooters will be divided into groups according to age They will take five shots at a skills net.
All shots will be stationary shots (no skates will be used) and points will be awarded for level of difficulty.
Sticks, pucks and safety equipment will be provided at the rink.
First-place winners in each age group will take home a hockey stick autographed by the Clarkson hockey team.
Parental permission is required.
Pre-registration slips will be available at local ice rinks, MVP Sports and the Potsdam Elks Lodge Facebook page.
