POTSDAM — The North Country Jazz Collective and Divided Roads will perform at Windy Point Stables on Oct. 23.

The concerts are part of the SLC Arts series Songs at the Stables being staged this fall in October and November.

The Jazz Collective will take the state from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by Divided Roads from 8-10 p.m.

The North Country Jazz Collective is a quintet based in the southern Adirondacks.

They have been featured performers at festivals in the Lake George area and recently performed at Saratoga's famed Caffe Lena.

Their music features jazz standards, jazz-rock classics, originals by the group, and pop favorites.

Three members of the band are Crane graduates.

Divided Roads is an original and cover band that formed back in 2001 when two of the current members were still in middle school.

Currently the lineup consists of Dave Belile on drums, Greg Jadlos on Bass, Mike Forget on lead guitar and vocals and Andy Deon on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. The band has performed all over the North Country over the years and have ventured as far as New York City to play. Some of the band’s biggest influences are Ghost, Tool, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Rush and the Doobie Brothers.

Windy Point Stables will have a cash bar available, and will host Foster the Plant Café and Gideon’s Galley for this performance.

SLC Arts requires all concert goers to practice social distancing in the stables and wear a mask when in close proximity to others outside of your party.

All Songs from the Stables concerts are free and open to the public.

SLC Arts hopes to hold the events outside at the new amphitheater at the Stables, but will bring the concerts inside in case of cold or inclement weather.
