CANTON – The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its monthly “Lunch and Learn” Webinar on Wednesday, May 22 from 12-1 p.m.
This webinar, presented by Angelina Blank, an Apprenticeship Business Developer from SUNY will discuss how apprenticeships have evolved to meet the needs of today’s workforce and how they help provide a pathway to success for individuals seeking to embark on rewarding career journeys.
Registered apprenticeship is a workforce training model that combines paid on-the-job training and higher education to help a worker master the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for career success.
The SUNY Apprenticeship Program offers funding for apprentices to attend any SUNY institution.
Employers may also be eligible for the Empire State Apprenticeship Tax Credit.
Between the workforce benefits and financial incentives, the registered apprenticeship program is a game-changer for both employers and workers alike!
Q & A will follow the presentation and supporting materials and contact info will be provided.
This webinar is part of the St. Lawrence County Chamber’s Monthly Webinar Series.
