MASSENA – Hay wagon rides, corn mazes, and a bounce house – with COVID measures in place -- are among the family-friendly Halloween activities available at Breezy Maples Farm again this year.

The farm is open during the day Saturdays noon to 6 p.m. and Sundays noon to 5 p.m.

“Breezy Maples Farm After Dark” is also open at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays with special nighttime events with a “Flashlight Corn Maze” for younger children. For older children, a “Forest of Frights” features a 2,000-foot walking woods trail with chilling scenes, special effects and live scare actors.

It also includes a “Night Time Wagon Ride,” a family-friendly ride around the farm which features a stop at a bonfire. Guests can bring their own marshmallows to roast or buy a roasting kit from the farm.

Cost for the day or evening events is $5 per person. Pony rides are $4 extra.

“We’re working with the community to build a place where families can create memories together,” said Carrie Kenney, who owns the agri-tainment business with her husband Jim, and with the help of their children, Carmen, Denver and Reilly.
