CANTON – Grasse River Players are premiering a musical for children during Canton Winterfest. Based on the Ukrainian folktale, The Mitten, Barbara Burdick, local music teacher, has penned a musical THE COZY MITTEN. It is about animals finding a unique spot to keep warm in winter.
Performances will be held Feb. 11 & 12 and Feb. 18 & 19 with 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. performances at St Lawrence University Blackbox Theatre (Griffiths Art Center). Tickets $10 for adults, $5 for children. Tickets at available at The Pear Tree, Canton, or at the door.
