CANTON -- The Cornell Cooperative Extension North Country Regional Ag Team is co-sponsoring a local Dairy Dialogue event on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Lawrence University campus located in the Sykes Common Room, 23 Romoda Dr., Canton 13617.
Dairy Dialogue events are held throughout the state allowing community members to connect and converse with local dairy farmers.
We hope community members will join us for an evening that will include a dairy documentary viewing, some dairy products and dialogue about animal agriculture.
The Dairy Dialogues program is made possible by New York dairy farmers and their dairy check-off funds. NYAAC is a farmer founded and funded 501-c-3 organization that strives to enhance the public’s understanding of and appreciation for animal agriculture by engaging the public in conversations about animal agriculture and empowering farmers to tell their story firsthand.
New York is proud to be the third leading producer of milk in the nation with over 4,500 family farms and over 625,000 cows.
