POTSDAM — Clarkson University’s American Cancer Society, Colleges Against Cancer will host a relay for life event on Saturday, March 25, in the Schuler indoor recreation center from 4 p.m. to midnight.

As described on the American Cancer Society’s webpage, “Relay For Life is one of the largest peer-to-peer fundraising events in the world. For more than 35 years, communities around the globe have come together to raise funds for a future free from cancer and we have no intention of ever slowing down.”

This year's theme will be a spotlight on cancer, Hollywood style, featuring decorations, shirts, and activities to the theme. This is the first relay-for-life event Clarkson has hosted that will be open to the public since COVID-19.

The event will feature many clubs and organizations hosting games, activities for all ages, raffle baskets, live music, food, and more.

This event is open to the public with ticket prices at $15 a person at the door and online registration at, https://bit.ly/3FmaGUe .

Luminaria and donation information are also available on the website.

For any information on donation or registration requests please contact the president of ACS on campus Katie Berry at berrykr@clarkson.edu.
