POTSDAM — Clarkson University’s American Cancer Society, Colleges Against Cancer will host a relay for life event on Saturday, March 25, in the Schuler indoor recreation center from 4 p.m. to midnight.
As described on the American Cancer Society’s webpage, “Relay For Life is one of the largest peer-to-peer fundraising events in the world. For more than 35 years, communities around the globe have come together to raise funds for a future free from cancer and we have no intention of ever slowing down.”
This year's theme will be a spotlight on cancer, Hollywood style, featuring decorations, shirts, and activities to the theme. This is the first relay-for-life event Clarkson has hosted that will be open to the public since COVID-19.
The event will feature many clubs and organizations hosting games, activities for all ages, raffle baskets, live music, food, and more.
