LOUISVILLE -- Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back - Rally For A Cure (formerly Relay For Life) is slated for Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. at Ray Hurlbutt Community Center aka Louisville Arena.

To register as a participant or survivor, visit www.relayforlife.org/massenany. Registrations can be done at the event too. There is no charge to register and the attendance at the event is free.

Survivors of cancer will be honored and cheered as their name is read by Jerry Manor, the emcee for the event.

Luminarias will be lit to remember those that have lost the battle with cancer and to honor the many survivors. Luminarias can be purchased for $5 from any participant or contact Denise Furnace at 315-250-5491. Luminarias can be purchased up until the luminaria ceremony starts at 9:30.

This year will be the 3rd Annual 5k Color Walk/Run to Fight Cancer. Registrations will be taken right up until 6 p.m. on Friday, June 7.

Register ahead of time by emailing Denise Furnace at dmfurnace60@gmail.com or the application is available on the Facebook event or at northenrrunner.org.

Registration fee is $20 and there will be 5 winners in 5 age groups for both runners and walkers.

There will also be a craft and vendor show, silent auction, Chinese raffle with prizes, two food trucks -- Anastasia Bakery and Snyders Snack Shake, and bake sales and other treats available through the teams.

Games of chance will also be offered. “Go Fishing” for the young kids, “All or Nothing” pop the balloon, two different 50/50 Five Card Studs Dart games and Tic Tac Toe.

The dunking booth will be set up as well. Organizers are still looking for people to sit in the booth to help raise funds to help eradicate cancer.
