CANTON - A "marathon" celebrating composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) will take place at St. Lawrence University on Saturday, April 2, from 2 to 9 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel at St. Lawrence University.
The event, featuring a variety of performers from throughout the North Country community and beyond, is open to the public, free of charge.
Those wishing to listen are encouraged to come at any time, stay for as long as they like and leave quietly when they must.
The audience may also, if they wish, bring along a box ("Bach's") supper to enjoy while hearing the variety of performers and pieces.
