St. Lawrence County lost 200 non-farm jobs in March 2019 compared to the same month last year, according to the state Department of Labor.
St. Lawrence County had 39,000 non-farm jobs in March 2018 and in 38,800 March 2019, DOL said.
That’s behind the state’s statistics, where 104,000 jobs were gained over that time, a 1.1 percent increase, DOL said.
To the east in Franklin County, non-farm jobs remained flat at 18,600 from March 2018 to 2019, DOL said.
To the west in Jefferson County, non-farm jobs dropped by 100 from 40,800 to 40,700, according to DOL.
