St. Lawrence County lost nearly 2,000 non-farm jobs in December 2020 compared to December 2019, according to the Department of Labor.
DOL says there were 38,200 non-farm jobs in the county last month, down from 40,000 the same month the prior year, a 4.5% drop.
In Franklin County, non-farm jobs dropped to 17,900 last month from 18,800 in December 2019, a 4.8% decrease.
In Jefferson County, non-farm jobs dropped to 37,400 last month from 41,200 the same month last year, a 9.2% drop.
