MASSENA — Liberty Utilities is launching an improved customer experience on May 9, with enhancements that include the launch of a new MyAccount customer portal and mobile app.
Customers will have an easier-to-read bill and the option to sign up for paperless billing and new payment options all in one place.
It’s important to note, customers will have new account numbers and those with automatic bill payment through their bank will need to change their NY Gas account number in their bank’s online bill payment system, according to officials.
The new account number will appear on May bills and any customer needing it sooner can call customer service at 800-454-2201, officials say. Should bills be delayed due to this launch, payment due dates will also be delayed, according to officials.
“The enhanced customer service experience will provide options to our customers that will make it easier for them to access their account information, saving them time whether they are looking for their bill, making a payment or viewing their usage in an easy-to read graph,” said Mark Saltsman, Vice President, Liberty New York Gas.
