POTSDAM – Keith B. Young has been appointed clinical assistant professor of physician assistant studies and director of didactic education at Clarkson University.
Young received his associate's degree in applied science in respiratory therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical Center, his bachelor of science in health professional education from SUNY Empire State College, his associate's in applied science and his physician assistant certificate from Essex Community College, his master of physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and is now studying for his doctor of health science at A.T. Still University.
Young was an adjunct instructor and acting assistant clinical coordinator in the physician assistant program at LeMoyne College and an instructor in the respiratory care programs at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, Mohawk Valley Community College and Onondaga Community College. He has also worked as a physician assistant, neonatal respiratory care specialist, respiratory therapist and home care consultant.
He is a member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
