I have read two different letters from dissolution supporters saying just trust the town board. We elected them and they represent us. If we did why won’t they give us answers to what the plans are if we dissolve. Tell us one way or the other if you are keeping police and fire. Let us fight it out before the vote so we can at least be informed when we cast our vote. I for one am not going to vote to dissolve to save $200 and in the process lose the police. The one good thing that has come from this is we have some new faces running for the village board that appear willing to make some cuts. I’m sure every department could stand to be trimmed back some. I trusted the town board once when I voted against building a new town hall, and they slapped everyone in the face and bought land to build one anyway. I won’t be fooled by them again.
