POTSDAM -- Potsdam police said they charged a woman with driving while intoxicated for allegedly being nearly three times the legal limit early Wednesday morning on Pierrepont Ave.
Caitlin W. Armstrong, 26, Carthage, was cited for DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right and failure to use a designated lane, officers said.
Police said they stopped Armstrong shortly after 2 a.m. after observing her fail to use a designated lane when making a turn and then failed to keep right.
During their investigation officers said they determined her to be intoxicated and she was taken into custody.
Police said Armstrong was found to have a revoked license for a prior DWI arrest.
A chemical test revealed a blood-alcohol content of .22 percent, officers said.
She it to appear in court to answer the charges at a later date, police said.
