CANTON - Find out about local scandals and scary encounters that will make your skin crawl when author Cheri Farnsworth speaks about her book Wicked Northern New York at the Brown Bag Lunch at noon, Thursday, Oct. 20.
The presentation will take place at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St.
Farnsworth will speak about wild and wooly sights from the North Country's past such as: witches, pistol duels, tramp camps, hermits on the run, wild man sightings, and horse thieves.
