Earth Day 7K
CANTON: 4th Annual Earth Day 7k Trail Run/Walk, 10-11:30 a.m., starting at the Wachtmeister Field Station on Route 27; hosted by Nature Up North, St. Lawrence Land Trust; proceeds for this event will be split between the St. Lawrence Land Trust and Nature Up North, and will benefit local conservation and environmental education projects in the North Country; registration 9 a.m.; walkers are welcome to start the course anytime after 9 a.m., and are encouraged to begin by 9:30 a.m.; flat 7-kilometer (approximately 4.4 miles) course connects the Kip and Saddlemire trails at St. Lawrence University; register: info@natureupnorth.org with name; age class: youth (12 and under), open (13 - 39), masters (40+); division: men/women/non-binary; and shirt size (youth S-XL, adult S-XL); race fee: $20, $10 for students, youth (12 and under) are free; race t-shirts, awards, prize raffle, refreshments, water; info@natureupnorth.org, https://bit.ly/2WCw1zY.
