I am searching for the driver responsible for $2800 in damages to my 2012 blue Chevy Silverado. My truck was parked in the St. Lawrence County Human Resources parking lot in Canton (where I work) on Monday, June 25. At approximately noon a witness stated two young men got into a Jeep Wrangler (Black with brown soft top) parked next to my truck and while backing out hit my truck. They got out of the jeep looked at the damage to my truck, got back into the jeep and drove off. The witness contacted Canton village police and waited to file a report. The witness was not able to get a full plate number. I want to say thank you to the witness for caring enough to get a description on the vehicle and contacting police. If you have any information that will help us locate the young man who caused this damage, please contact me at 353-9924. If this person is not located I will be responsible for a $500 insurance deductible and my insurance has to pay for these damages.
