WADDINGTON — A Waddington man was charged this morning for driving more than 100 miles per hour near a school, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Casey J. Morrill, 21, was charged with speeding on State Highway 345 near Madrid-Waddington Central School, according to deputies.
The sheriff’s office had received complaints of a vehicle traveling at high rates of speed near the school during early morning hours.
Sheriff’s patrolled the area and observed a vehicle matching the description traveling 104 mph, deputies said.
Morrill was cited and released on a ticket returnable to Waddington court at a later date.
