WADDINGTON -- Amvets Post #4 will sponsor a golf tournament to benefit Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures at the Twin Brooks Golf Course on Saturday, Aug. 27 beginning with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
The tournament is a four-person Captain and crew format and the $240 per team cost includes entry fees, greens fees, carts, lunch at the turn, a buffet dinner, giveaways and cash prizes.
WWOA is a not-for-profit organization created by North Country sportsmen and veterans with the mission of providing Wounded Warriors, along with their families and battle buddies, opportunities to experience the many wonderful outdoor activities available in our area.
