Veterans and Military Families for Progress (VMFP) has endorsed Bill Owens in his re-election for U.S. Congress, saying that Owens’ “strong commitment to the issues that are critical to veterans, those serving now, and their families is unsurpassed.”
“I consider it an honor to again be endorsed by the Veterans and Military Families for Progress,” said Owens. “I come from a family of soldiers and, as a veteran myself, I believe it is a duty incumbent upon every Member of Congress to fight for our veterans, troops, armed forces personnel, and their families every day.
VMFP describes itself as a nonprofit and nonpartisan veterans organization whose membership consists of veterans, military families and active duty military personnel, with regional, state and local chapters across the country.
