OGDENSBURG -- United Helpers recently hired a new occupational therapist, Patti L. Prouty.
The United Helpers therapy team provides speech, occupational and physical therapy and treats people of all ages.
“If I am working with a person who is recovering from a stroke, I know that I can count of the speech and physical therapist to work with me to come up with creative ways to help our patients achieve their goals," Prouty said. "The patient has a team of caregivers, not just one perspective.”
Prouty is a graduate of Utica College with a master's degree in occupational therapy. She is board certified with advanced training in hand therapy and also has a special interest in working with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and low vision therapies.
