POTSDAM – Two Potsdam residents are more than half-way through a cross-country bicycle trip from Seattle, Wash. to New York City.
Will Trithart, 21, who attends Binghamton University, and Dan Prahl, 22, who graduated this spring from the University of Portland, started their trip on June 2.
Friends Zachary Goodrich, 21, who attends Binghamton University and is from Burnt Hills, Peter Ward, 20, a Binghamton University student from Washington DC, and Aidan Ward, 21, a University of California at Santa Cruz student from Petaluma, Calif. are also participating in the trip.
Their trip is being chronicled on their blog, www.manifestdestiny2010.blogspot.com.
The group hopes to reach New York City around July 25.
