NORWOOD – The Norwood Public Library, 1 Morton St., will offer a tutor training course with orientation set for Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m.
The course will teach about phonics, word patterns, vocabulary development, reading comprehension and fluency.
Once you complete the course, participants will be matched with one adult who needs help.
Tutors and students meet in public places such as libraries for an hour or two each week. Info: 353-6692.
