The Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties Central Trades and Labor Council recently endorsed candidates running for office in Ogdensburg, Massena and Gouverneur, as well as for county sheriff and clerk.
Their endorsements include:
• St. Lawrence County Sheriff – Kevin Wells, Republican, also appearing on Democrat line
• St. Lawrence County Clerk – Mary Lou Rupp, Republican, also appearing on Conservative line
• St. Lawrence County District 15 Legislator – Lisa Bell, Democrat, also on Working Families line
• Ogdensburg City Mayor – Sam Burns, Democrat
• Ogdensburg City Council – Jennifer Stevenson, Democrat, also on Independence line
• Ogdensburg City Council – Tim Davis, Democrat
• Massena Town Council – Thomas Miller, Democrat
• Massena Town Council – Steven O’Shaughnessy, Democrat
• Gouverneur Village Mayor – Ronald McDougall, Democrat, also on Republican line
