MOIRA -- A town resident is jailed after allegedly stabbing someone in the neck during an argument.
Tristan L. Padilla, 17, is charged with attempted second-degree assault, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Troopers say they responded to a Russell Road residence around 1:35 p.m. Monday for a report of an assault with a weapon. They say Padilla allegedly stabbed a 57-year-old with a pocket knife during an argument, who was treated at the scene by responding EMS.
Padilla was arraigned in Malone Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone, in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond and is to appear in Moira Town Court on Friday, police said.
