POTSDAM --The St. Lawrence Arts Council will host a workshop with Ellen MacMaster, owner and seamstress of “Embears” for ages 10 and up to learn how to make their own teddy bears July 29 through August 2 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Learn how to layout and cut a pattern, sew with a sewing machine, and hand sew details. Bring home a finished teddy bear.
Visit www.embears.com for examples of MacMaster’s work. The class will be in room 229, downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St.
