OGDENSBURG -- Five St. Lawrence County residents made up the team that took top honors at the recent New York State B.A.S.S. Club Team Championship tournament.
Doug Kirkbride of Beaver River led the team with a two-day total of 40.64 lbs. of fish Brad Paradis of Ogdensburg caught the second largest among on the team with 36.68 lbs. Corey Palmer of Ogdensburg landed 35.69 lbs. James Moore of Gouverneur caught 31.75 lbs. Chuck Roach of Heuvelton angled 31.02 lbs. Fred Morill of Dekalb rounded out the six-man team with 21.15 lbs.
Their total was 196.93.
Crown City Bassmasters took second place with 169.09 lbs. Third place was the Rochester Bassmasters Club with 159.36 lbs.
