POTSDAM – Village police report no one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Lawrence Avenue in front of the elementary school Wednesday at 4:01 p.m.
Patrols say that a Honda minivan driven by 35-year-old K. McKenna-Dambrosio of Avon, N.Y., and occupied by three other passengers (ages 2, 4, and 72) was stopped in traffic on Lawrence Avenue waiting to make a left turn into the Elementary School entrance when it was rear-ended by a Potsdam Taxi vehicle (Subaru) operated by 33-year-old Francis Green of Potsdam.
Green was ticketed for following too closely, returnable to Potsdam Village Court on Aug. 24.
All parties declined any medical treatment at the scene.
The Potsdam Rescue Squad and Potsdam Fire Department also responded to the scene.
