CANTON -- The Young Women’s Leadership Institute (YWLI) of the North Country will host a professional women’s event titled “Taking Flight: Breaking Barriers,” Friday, Nov. 3, from 5-6 p.m., at Sykes Formal Lounge at St. Lawrence University.
Kathryn G. Hughes, MD, MPH, DAvMed will deliver the keynote address to open the fourth annual Community Connections Conference, which will have over 100 local college women in attendance over the weekend.
The organization will participate in the Community Connections Conference hosted by SUNY Potsdam Saturday, Nov. 4.
The Young Women’s Leadership Institute of the North Country is a coalition of organizations, including The American Association of University Women and the four local universities, which seeks to provide learning and networking opportunities for women in the North Country.
