POTSDAM -- After a night of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, the Potsdam Town and Country Club was heavily soaked on Thursday, Sept. 12. But while teeing off was impossible, the 25th Annual SUNY Potsdam Scholarship Golf Classic still raised an estimated $90,000 for student scholarships.
Spirits weren't dampened, as more than 140 golfers came to the course for a luncheon, which included raffles and prizes. Some brave teams even waded onto the green, proud of all they had done to benefit SUNY Potsdam students.
