In March, Southwest Technical Centers’ juniors in the environmental technology program visited St. Lawrence Lumber, Inc. on state Route 58 in Fowler, the school said in a news release.
Bob Perras welcomed the class of 17 students for a tour of the facility, which produces hardwood lumber of various grades.
Students observed the grading and production of various species, as well as the stacking and shipping procedures.
St. Lawrence Lumber, Inc. was formed in 1980 and employs 12.
