ALBANY -- As the state Senate and Assembly begin budget hearings, the Assembly has posted a Statistical and Narrative summary of the 2011-2012 Executive Budget, also known as the Yellow Book, online.
The comprehensive document provides an overview of the governor’s $132.9 billion spending plan as well as agency reviews of the plan, according to Assemblywoman Addie Russell.
It can be viewed online at http://assembly.state.ny.us/Reports/WAM/2011Yellow/.
Said Russell, “This analysis is central in the process of working with the Governor and Senate to craft a timely and responsible budget.”
The Assembly and Senate have begun holding joint legislative budget hearings on the Governor’s proposal. where officials, advocates and the public will address the Assembly and Senate fiscal committees on local and general government.
