St. Lawrence Health System will receive $1 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in a Rural Development grant to reimburse lost revenues due to the first year of the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am proud to work to support our rural hospitals as they overcome unique challenges, and this investment will help the St. Lawrence Health System address lost revenues due to the coronavirus pandemic,” Congresswoman Elise Stefanik stated today. “The St. Lawrence Health System is critical to providing essential healthcare services to families in rural communities, and these taxpayer dollars will return to our district to ensure it can continue to meet the community’s healthcare needs.”
