Gouverneur Hospital patient Bernice Taylor chats with Registered Dietitian Madison Dodsworth via telehealth. St. Lawrence Health recently implemented the Nutritional Telehealth devices at its three hospitals, which along with GH, includes Canton-Potsdam Hospital, and Massena Hospital. A registered dietitian appears live on a screen at the bedside of patients and discusses their nutritional intake and goals. After consulting with a patient, the dietitian enters her notes for the hospital’s medical and dietary teams to review. She also controls the robot remotely and moves throughout the hospital to various patient rooms. SLH photo.
