The St. Lawrence County Youth Bureau is accepting applications through Aug. 7 for funding proposals under the Youth Development Program.
The grants support youth development services and programs for youth up to age 21.
The county Youth Bureau funds programs and initiatives that enable youth to build on their strengths, and which provide opportunities for youth to gain important life skills. Faith-based organizations, business, not-for-profits, and government agencies are eligible to apply.
Any contracts awarded will be for the period Jan. 1, 2019 through Dec. 31, 2021.
Understanding youth development and the factors contributing to the healthy development of young people are critical to the design of requests, according to Bureau Director Joanne Sevick.
Applications will be accepted until noon Aug. 7. Email youthcorps@stlawco.org or call 315-379-9464 to request an electronic copy of the RFP. Include name, number, and address.
