CANTON -- A St. Lawrence County Rural Business Roundtable, sponsored by U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development, is set for 10 a.m. to noon Thursday Nov. 17 in the second-floor conference room of the St. Lawrence County Human Services Building, 80 State Rt. 310, Canton.
This roundtable will focus on business program opportunities available through the USDA's Rural Development program for those who reside in rural communities.
Topics include USDA programs on intermediary relending, repowering assistance, rural energy for America, rural business enterprise grants, rural economic development loans and grants, business and industry guaranteed loans, bioenergy for advanced biofuels, payments to advanced biofuels producers, and biorefinery assistance loan guarantees.
