CANTON -- St. Lawrence County residents must register by Oct. 9 in order to vote in the upcoming general elections.
The St. Lawrence County Board of elections is also reminding residents of important registration deadlines as November election grows near.
The general election will be held Nov. 3 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Applications for registration for the General Election by mail must be postmarked not later than Oct. 9.
Last day for “Change of Address” to reach the Board of Elections to be effective for the General Election is Oct. 14
Board of Elections office will be open 9 a.m.-noon for the purpose of issuing absentee ballots on Oct. 4
Last day to apply by mail for absentee ballot for General Election is Oct. 27.
Board of Elections office will remain open until 7 p.m. for the purpose of issuing absentee ballots on Oct. 27.
Board of Elections office will remain open until 7 p.m. for the purpose of issuing absentee ballots on Oct. 29.
Board of Elections office will be open 9 a.m.-noon for the purpose of issuing absentee ballots on Oct. 31.
Last day to deliver absentee ballot application or apply in person for an absentee ballot for the General Election is Nov. 2
Absentee ballots must reach the Board of Elections by the close of the polls on Election Day, Nov. 3., except the ballots postmarked by the postal service not later than the day before election, may be received until seven days after the election (Nov. 10 Military Nov. 16).
