CANTON -- The St Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail and County snowmobile trails are now open and available for use by all users for the next couple of months.
The St. Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail Committee and the snowmobile clubs strongly encourage all users of both trail systems to follow all rules and regulations to insure that we all can enjoy the activities we pursue.
Officials said to remember to stop when signaled by a law enforcement or a safety patrol officer; respect the environment; watch the weather and dress appropriately; and be prepared by carrying a first aid kit, tools, spare equipment, matches and a cell phone or two way radio.
Both committees want everyone to enjoy the great outdoors here in the North Country by being smart and especially safe, said a press release from the county.
