CANTON – St. Lawrence County District Attorney candidate Gary Pasqua, Republican, recently received the endorsement of the St. Lawrence County Republican Executive Committee.
Pasqua is the Franklin County chief assistant district attorney. He announced his plans to run for St. Lawrence County DA in Dec. of 2016.
St. Lawrence County voters will elect a new district attorney Nov. 7.
“After reviewing his extensive legal experience as a prosecutor over the past nine years, including several years as a chief assistant district attorney, it was clear that he is the best overall candidate for this critical office and we support his candidacy to the fullest, the St. Lawrence County Republican Executive Committee said in a prepared statement”
The letter continued: “He is a calm, deliberate, no nonsense prosecutor who will work hard for the people of St. Lawrence County. Gary leaves politics behind, while focusing on the issues that face our community.”
“Gary and his family have embraced St. Lawrence County. They live in Canton and his wife is originally from North Lawrence. Their daughter is enrolled in eleventh grade at Hugh C. Williams High School in Canton, and their youngest son attends preschool at Branford Elementary School in Canton. They have another son attending SUNY Canton, and their oldest son is employed at Clarkson University
Gary Pasqua is our choice for District Attorney for St. Lawrence County.”
