CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Conservative Party`s executive committee will be interviewing candidates who wish to run for seats in Senate and Assembly districts representing St. Lawrence County.
The interviews will take place in a conference room at the Best Western in Canton at 6 p.m. May 18.
With redistricting complete and state legislators deciding that the county will now be represented by four Assembly members rather than two and three Senate members rather than two, the Conservative Party is looking for candidates to carry the party’s banner in the 115th, 116th, 117th and 118th Assembly districts and the 45th, 47th and 48th Senate districts.
All local candidates interested in running for those seats are welcome.
