CANTON – A development loan of $30,000 is going to St. Lawrence Brewery, a startup in Canton.
The brewery, at 19 Commerce Lane, is proposing that $90,000 will be the remaining startup cost of the business.
The $30,000, from the North Country Alliance Local Development Corporation, will be used to fund the additional working capital, according to a news release from the NCA.
St. Lawrence Brewery hopes to acquire additional funds from The St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency Local Development Corporation and the Adirondack Development Corporation.
The brewery intends on providing for five jobs.
