POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence Arts Council has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The funding will assist the Arts Council with marketing and outreach to support local artists and regional businesses participating in local studio tours and arts festivals in St. Lawrence County.
“I am proud to announce the USDA is awarding the St. Lawrence Arts Council a Rural Business Development grant,” Congresswoman Elise Stefanik said. “The arts attract tourism, create jobs, and are a powerful economic engine for our region. I look forward to continuing to find ways to support our district.”
