OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce hosts their next “Solarize Ogdensburg” presentation June 29 at 6 p.m. at the Dobisky Center.
They will discuss connecting homes and businesses to solar power, which the chamber says can save money on energy bills and reduce one’s carbon footprint.
The Solarize Ogdensburg campaign is available to all the residents and businesses in the Ogdensburg and surrounding communities – Heuvelton, Lisbon, Morristown, Hammond, Rensselaer Falls, Brasher Falls, etc.
People can sign up for a free consultation. There are tax credits and incentives available to consumers.
Attendees can meet the installers, Northern Lights Energy and Fourth Coast Inc., and ask questions.
This presentation is open to the public, including homeowners, businesses, schools. Residents and businesses who sign up for solar installations by Oct. 31 will be able to take advantage of group rates below market prices, according to the chamber.
