CHILDWOLD – People in the Childwold area who have been waiting for broadband internet service won’t have much longer to wait.
Slic Network Solutions, a locally owned provider of high-speed internet, phone, and television services, is expanding into Childwold in a project funded in part by a Connect NY grant from the New York State Broadband Program Office.
Slic has built a fiber-optic network in southeastern St. Lawrence County and throughout the Childwold area including Sevey’s Corners, according to a press release announcing the Childwold development.
Services are expected to be ready by Dec. 15. In the meantime, property owners may go to www.slic.com/childwold for more information and to pre-order services.
Customers that pre-order services before service availability will be among the first customers to be activated when services are ready, Slic said.
People who have questions can contact Slic Network Solutions at (877) 754-2266 and press Option 1 to speak with Customer Service.
