SANFORDVILLE -- Singer-songwriter Alex Smith from Long Lake will play Saturday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Robin McClellan, also known as The Hermitage, at 465 Old Market Rd.
There is a $10 admission fee.
Smith’s influences range from Bill Morrisey, Greg Brown, John Hartford, to Stan Rogers, and his music strives first and foremost to echo the culture of the Adirondacks.
The singer-songwriter has recorded a live album at Caffè Lena's in Saratoga which scheduled for release in mid-July. He is also scheduled to play 200 shows this year and is preparing for a new studio album, "Fuel, Air, Compression, Spark."
McClellan periodically hosts house concerts at his home in Sanfordville outside Potsdam.
