In Loving Memory of Sharon Lovely

OGDENSBURG -- Sharon Lynn Lovely, age 82, passed away on April 5, 2024.

Sharon was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt, whose gentle demeanor and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

Sharon was born on December 16, 1941, in Ogdensburg, New York, to the late Allen Charles and Helen Catherine (LaRose) Lovely.

Known for her soft-spoken nature and heart of gold, Sharon dedicated her life to caring for others, beginning with her devotion to looking after her grandmother.

Later, Sharon continued her compassionate work at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, where she selflessly tended to the needs of the elderly. Additionally, she spent several years as a professional house cleaner, bringing comfort and cleanliness to many homes.

Sharon's love for music and movement was evident in her passion for singing and dancing. Her loving niece remembers Sharon’s face lighting up when the Tom Jones Variety Hour came on every week.

For many years, Sharon was an active member of the St. Lawrence Border Line Dancers, a group that brought joy and entertainment to communities across the East Coast, performing at fairs and parades with enthusiasm and grace.

In addition to her line dancing skills, Sharon enriched her community as an active member of her local VFW and AmVets posts.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to shine brightly.
