HARRISVILLE -- Multiple fire departments responded to a structure and forest fire May 24 on Goose Pond Road.
The fire was reported around 2 p.m. and Harrisville Fire, Star Lake Fire, Natural Bridge Fire, Croghan Fire, Gouverneur Fire, and Fine Fire, Forest Rangers, and Carthage Rescue all responded.
Volunteers from the Central & Northern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross provided emergency aid to three people, including a three-year old, after the single-family residence caught fire.
The blaze reportedly involved the home and some forest land.
