State Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, met recently with New York State Office of Mental Health Commissioner Dr. Ann Marie Sullivan in Albany to discuss community mental health needs in her district.
She represents the western half of St. Lawrence County including Canton, Gouverneur, and Ogdensburg, home of the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Hospital.
During their meeting, Ritchie and Sullivan also discussed strengthening and protecting the mission of the St. Lawrence Psych Center.
